Numerex Corp (Nasdaq: NMRX), a leading single source provider of secure machine-to-machine (M2M) products and services, today announced that it has entered into agreements with global telecom infrastructure providers and wireless network operators that allow it to expand the reach of its network and application service platforms to over 200 countries worldwide.

Global Gateway to Secure M2M(TM), a new service offered by Numerex, now makes available the required foundational components of device, network, and application - branded Numerex DNA(R) - on a hosted basis to customers around the globe. A broad variety of vertical markets can now benefit from a complete international platform with key components, enabling, and integration services provided 'under one roof,' including wireless network connectivity and managed applications.

With Numerex's new Global Gateway to Secure M2M(TM) service, customers can track and monitor their goods and services via a single interface using Numerex network and application platforms that enable and power their solutions while incorporating an international data security standard - ISO 27001 - and global wireless telecommunications network technologies. Also, customers can continue managing the lifecycle of their devices, network plans, and SIMs through an easy to use portal interface. Basic features of the Numerex portal include the ability to create, edit or customize devices, update data plans, edit customer account information, access data about new product features such as upgrades, and a variety of management reports.

During the meeting, professors and researchers from the Georgia Institute of Technology will present their perspectives and some of their research work in related areas.
